Well another year of school bites the dust as of today. Micah is now officially a senior and Reed a junior. My babies are growing up!

The picture above is from Memorial Day when Micah delivered the Gettysburg Address at the Memorial Day ceremony at the cemetery. Jerry Christiansen, one of the veterans in our town and a janitor at the schools, is seen with us. Micah did a great job and even my Aunt Pearl absolutely swooned over him! (I think he was kind of scared of her and the way she was gushing over him!)

Our kitchen is at a stand still until we get the trim and doors stained and varnished. We need to finish the painting and the toilet and sink are on back order still. Our appliances are up and running so at least we can cook and clean up but I am hesitating to put things in the cupboards and drawers as the pulls need to be put on still and that will make another mess to clear up. Hopefully within the next couple weeks things can get back to normal, whatever that is.
