Whew! Glad This Day's Over!

Well, I made it thru year #2 as St. Patrick's Ham Dinner organizer! One more to go!!! Spent the better part of yesterday at the church getting things set up. Came home and baked my pies while listening to the guys cheer UNI on in the NCAA tourney. That sounded like a great game and Mike re-played the last few minutes several times for me from the DVR (whatever would we do without such technology!). I made a butterscotch pie and an apple crumb pie. Mike said that my pies were the prettiest and he would definitely choose mine over anyone else's (do you think he's trying to butter me up for some reason?).

We served over 800 meals today between those who came to dine at the church and carry-outs. Hard to believe we can feed that many people in just two hours! If it weren't for the many hands we would never be able to accomplish everything. A big THANK YOU to any St. Pat's member reading this.

Spring is officially here and hopefully it will start to look more like it around here. My mom called today and said they drove by our place on their "Sunday drive" and we definitely have the most snow in our yard of anyone in the county! What an honor!

Well, I'd better start now getting ready for the week ahead. Who knows what tomorrow may bring!
